Technical Specification for N2XY 500mm² Single-Core Armoured XLPE Copper Cable

1. Product Overview

N2XY 500mm² single-Core Cable features oxygen-free Copper Conductor and XLPE insulation, with selectable voltage ratings from 0.6/1kV to 18/30kV. Complies with IEC 60502-2, VDE 0276 and GB/T 12706 for mechanically demanding installations.

2. Construction

  • Conductor: Class 2 stranded oxygen-free copper (IEC 60228), 500mm²

  • Conductor screen: Extruded semi-con layer (0.8mm)

  • Insulation: XLPE (4.5mm@12/20kV)

  • Insulation screen: Semi-con + copper tape

  • Armour: Dual galvanized Steel Tape (0.2mm/layer, ≤50% gap)

  • Sheath: Black PVC (3.0mm) or LSOH (3.2mm) optional
