Material
Conductor: High-purity oxygen-free copper is used as the Conductor Material, with a purity of more than 99.95%. Oxygen-free copper has excellent electrical conductivity, with a conductivity of 100% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard), which can reduce losses during power transmission. Insulation layer: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) is selected as the Insulation Material. After cross-linking treatment, XLPE forms a three-dimensional network structure, making it have excellent heat resistance. The long-term working temperature can reach 90℃, and the short-term overload temperature can be as high as 130℃, which can maintain good insulation performance in high-temperature environments. In addition, XLPE also has good chemical corrosion resistance, can resist the erosion of acids, alkalis, oils and other chemical substances, and has strong aging resistance and a long service life.
Shielding layer: It consists of an inner semi-conductive water-blocking layer and an outer metal shielding layer. The inner semi-conductive water-blocking layer is made of semi-conductive materials, which has good conductivity and water absorption, can eliminate air gaps between the conductor and the insulation layer, prevent moisture from infiltrating, and play a role in uniform electric field. The outer metal shielding layer is usually made of copper tape or Copper Wire braiding. The thickness of the copper tape is about 0.1mm - 0.3mm, and the diameter of the copper wire is about 0.15mm - 0.3mm. It has excellent shielding performance, can effectively isolate external electromagnetic interference, and can be used as a grounding loop to improve the safety of the cable.
Outer sheath: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyethylene (PE) materials are used as the outer sheath. The PVC outer sheath has good mechanical strength and weather resistance, and can resist external mechanical impact and erosion of the natural environment; the PE outer sheath has better flexibility and low-temperature resistance, and is not easy to crack in low-temperature environments.
Style
This series of cables all have a single-core structure and are overall circular. The outer diameters of cables of different specifications are different. The outer diameter of 50mm² is about 25mm, 70mm² is about 28mm, 185mm² is about 42mm, and 200mm² is about 44mm. (4) Production Process
The production process of this series of double shielded conductor XLPE cables is advanced and rigorous, ensuring that the product quality meets high standards.
First is the manufacturing of the conductor. High-purity oxygen-free copper rods are drawn into copper wires of the required diameter through a wire drawing machine, and then annealed to eliminate internal stress in the copper wires and improve their flexibility and conductivity. For conductors with large cross-sectional areas, such as 185mm² and 200mm², multiple copper wires are twisted together. During the twisting process, the twisting pitch is strictly controlled to ensure the roundness and stability of the conductor.
Next is the extrusion of the insulation layer. The extruder is used to heat and melt the XLPE material, and then evenly extrude and coat it on the surface of the conductor. During the extrusion process, the extrusion temperature (usually 120℃ - 180℃), speed and pressure are accurately controlled to ensure that the thickness of the insulation layer is uniform, closely combined with the conductor, and free of defects such as bubbles and impurities. After extrusion, the insulation layer is cross-linked by dry cross-linking or warm water cross-linking to make the XLPE molecules undergo a cross-linking reaction to form a stable three-dimensional network structure.
Then comes the production of the shielding layer. First, the inner semi-conductive water-blocking layer is extruded on the outside of the insulation layer to ensure that it evenly covers the surface of the insulation layer and is closely combined with the insulation layer. After that, the outer metal shielding layer is made by wrapping or braiding on the outside of the outer semi-conductive water-blocking layer. When wrapping the copper tape, the overlap rate is not less than 15%, and when braiding the copper wire, the braiding density is not less than 85% to ensure a good shielding effect.
Finally, the outer sheath is extruded. PVC or PE materials are extruded on the outside of the shielding layer through an extruder to form the outer sheath. During the extrusion process, relevant parameters are controlled to make the outer sheath have a uniform thickness, a smooth surface, and closely combined with the shielding layer.
During the production process, each process is equipped with strict quality inspection links, including the detection of conductor diameter, insulation layer thickness, shielding layer quality, outer sheath performance, etc., to ensure that each section of the cable meets relevant standards.
II. General Product Information
(1) Packaging
To ensure the quality of the cable during transportation and storage, this series of cables adopts a professional packaging method.
For long-length cables, they are usually wound on steel cable reels. The diameter of the cable reel depends on the cable specification. The diameter of the cable reel for 50mm² and 70mm² is about 1200mm, and that for 185mm² and 200mm² is about 1600mm. Both sides of the cable reel are equipped with strong baffles with a thickness of not less than 18mm, which can effectively prevent the cable from slipping. (2) Transportation
Transportation methods: According to the transportation distance and order quantity, different transportation methods can be selected. For short-distance transportation, road transportation is generally used, and trucks are used to load cable reels. The trucks need to be equipped with fixing devices to firmly fix the cable reels to prevent shaking during transportation. For long-distance transportation, railway transportation can be chosen, which has good stability and is suitable for transporting large quantities of cables; for areas with ports, waterway transportation can also be used, with relatively low cost.
Transportation precautions: During transportation, the cable reel must be placed horizontally, and it is strictly forbidden to tilt or invert to prevent the cable from slipping off the cable reel. A certain distance should be kept between cable reels to prevent mutual collision and extrusion, which may cause damage to the cable outer sheath and internal structure. Transport vehicles or means of transport should take rain-proof, sun-proof and dust-proof measures, such as covering with rain-proof cloth, to avoid the cable being affected by bad weather. When loading and unloading the cable reel, special hoisting equipment must be used, and the hoisting point should be selected at the lifting ring of the cable reel. Hoisting at the baffle or other parts is not allowed to avoid damaging the cable reel and the cable. During transportation, traffic rules must be observed, and driving should be smooth, avoiding sudden braking, sharp turns and other operations to reduce the impact on the cable.
(3) Delivery
Delivery time: After the customer confirms the order and makes payment, we will arrange delivery as soon as possible. For specifications in stock, they can usually be shipped within 3 - 5 working days; for customized specifications or large quantities of orders, the production cycle will be extended according to the actual situation. We will communicate with the customer in advance to clarify the delivery time to ensure that the customer can reasonably arrange subsequent work.
Delivery process: First, warehouse personnel accurately pick cables of corresponding specifications and lengths according to the order information and conduct strict checks to ensure that the product information is consistent with the order. Then, re-inspect the cable to confirm that there is no quality problem, and then package it according to the packaging standards. After that, contact the cooperative logistics company, arrange transport vehicles, safely load the cable onto the vehicle, and fix it firmly.
